1983 - 1983

OVERVIEW 990 was a short-lived Cork outfit. The band featured Kieran Kennedy [Vocals & Guitar] and Wayne Sheehy [Drums], both of whom had been members of Driveshaft. The pair was joined by John O'Sullivan on Bass Guitar. The band is known to have been active around 1983, however, there are no known recordings. Kennedy went on to form The Black Velvet Band and later pursued a solo career releasing two albums. Wayne has gone on to play with bands such as Cactus World News, Hinterland and Hothouse Flowers. 1983 - Band formed - Band split
