OVERVIEW A Dark Horse is an alt-folk band fro Dublin. The group was formed towards the end of 2010 by James Parker and Hugh Rodgers. In February 2011, the pair headed into studio with Niall Woods to commence the recording of their debut EP. The recording sessions came to an end in August of that year. However, it was a further 12 months before the EP was released to critical acclaim. The EP's lead track 'Take Me Home' was singled out for praise in Hot Press Magazine.
