| OVERVIEW Aiken Drum were a short-lived electro-pop band from Finglas on Dublin's Northside. The line up featured Martin McCann on vocals as well as brothers David and Pat Morrissey. The band were active in the mid 1980s [1985 - 86] and contributed a track 'The Hearing' to the 'Street Carnival Rock' EP. The group disbanded sometime after this release. McCann went on to form Lord John White and then Sack while David Morrissey would go on to perform with Missing Link, A-House and Pony Club. Pat Morrissey became a sound engineer. 1985 - Band formed 1986 - Aiken Drum contribute the track 'The Hearing' to the 'Street Carnival Rock' EP |
