2010 -

OVERVIEW The Aluskas came in to being in 2010 as a result of a name change. The members had previously played together as The Willows. The players in question are Dave Byrne [Vocals, Guitar, Bass Guitar & Keyboards], Anthony Byrne [Drums, Percussion & Vocals] and Philip Tinsley [Vocals, Guitar, Bass Guitar & Keyboards]. Since the band's debut live performance (as The Aluskas) in August 2010, the trio have been busy both on the live and recording fronts. In January 2012, the band released its debut self-produced single, 'Backwater Woods'. Since then, a further 3 singles followed over the course of 2012 ['Where We Started Out', 'Skin & Bones' and 'Merry Christmas To You'] as well as the acclaimed debut album 'Draw!'. 2012 - Release of 'Backwater Woods' single [23 January] - Release of 'Where We Started Out' single [26 March] - Release of 'Draw!' album [30 July] - Release of 'Skin & Bones' single [24 September] - Release of 'Merry Christmas To You' single [03 December]
