OVERVIEW The Ambience Affair is currently comprised of a Vocalist/Guitarist Jamie Clarke,and a drummer called Marc Gallagher. Jamie had been playing and writing for a while up until 8 months ago when he met Marc in the music shop they work in. Marc came to one of his solo gigs and decided there was room for some drums. Jamie has been told that he has have had a really weird musical background because didn't have any 'cool' older brother/sister/parents to hand me down music. He's always had a massive fear that if he listens to 'older' music then he will be influenced by it and his part of the songwriting will ending up suffering from originality and it will end up sounding like what has gone before.He's had this questioned by about 1,000 people so far in his life. The music is just a progression from the artists who were inspired by the ones he is meant to be listening to. Marc's musical background is something pretty great,he owns a load of vinyl and has an incredibly eclectic collection of records. Jamie thinks the fact the two of them so similar yet so completely different as regards musicality is a good thing.It helps them forge out their own sound. Trying to forge out that unique sound is something that The Ambience Affair will always strive for.If you have listened to their tracks above,watched the videos,or come to any of their gigs,thank you.
