While working together, both Noel and Richard realised that they couldn't just quit after one track. One song led to another and soon Richard was fronting Arkitekt The unmistakable musical chemistry between Noel and Richard is now creating new buzz and new tunes. With the "bones of an album" together, with mixes by Bernard Butler (ex Suede/McAlmont & Butler) Arkitekt are planning a world-wide release, touring and a new and intriguing sound only Richard Walters and Noel Hogan can create. Richard Walters Hailing from Oxford, UK, Richard Walters, Ex Theremin front-man, released his first solo EP in May 2004 on Beard Museum Records. 'Umbrella Songs' received great reviews the world over. Noel Hogan Noel Hogan is known by many as the lead guitarist and co-songwriter of The Cranberries. In an attempt to break free from the 'guitar-drums line-up' he became so accustomed to with The Cranberries, Noel decided to take a step towards a more electronic feel where could venture off in a new direction and experiment with different eclectic sounds, voices and beats. Through experimentation and computer programming, Arkitekt was born. Watch out for more news on the Arkitekt album in the not too distant future.
