OVERVIEW Daemien Frost was formed in Dublin in late by David Layde [Guitar] and Hag [Drums]. Mark McManus was later invited to join on Bass while Greg Barrett was also a member of the group. The group was particularly active during 2001 when it released a string of singles - 'Slut Style', 'In League With The Amazons' and 'Who Stole The Rock?' All three singles were split releases with The Jimmy Cake, Montana Pete and Banana Melt respectively. That year also saw the band release the 'Corpus Daemo' album on the Alpha Relish label. The band subsequently entered a period of inactivity. Hag and Mark went on to form Giraffe Running. David Layde performed with Merman and Beacon Habit while Mark also played with Merman before joining Moloch In Tyrol, who subsequently became Zorilla. In 2007, the band released 'Spirito Di Daemo'. This collection gathered together remastered versions of the tracks from the 'Corpus Daemo' album as well as a selection of other material and video footage. 1999 - Band formed by David Layde and Hag [26 December] 2000 - Mark was invited to join the band on Hi-Bass [April] 2001 - Release of 'Slut Style' as a split 7" release with The Jimmy Cake [10 May] - Release of 'Corpus Daemo' album [13 October] - Release of 'In League With The Amazons' as a split 7" release with Montana Pete [21 October] - Release of 'Who Stole The Rock? / You've Changed' as a split 7" E.P. release with Banana Melt [04 November] 2003 - Daemien Frost represented Ireland at the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas [March] 2007 - Release of 'Spirito Di Daemo' album
