OVERVIEW DC Pakt was an alternative rock band from Dublin's Northside. The group came together in 2005 with a line up of Graham Dodd [Vocals], Alan Dodd [Guitar & Backing Vocals], Jimmy Nolan [Drums & Backing Vocals] and Chris Carroll [Bass Guitar]. The quartet very quickly made an impact on the local scene with their energetic live performances. The group is not known to have released any material itself. However, it contributed tracks to a number of compilations. A demo verion of the song 'Departure' featured on the 'Faction One' compilation in 2005 while the track also featured on the 'IMRO Showcase Tour 2007' collection. Other tracks in the band's repertoire included 'Control', 'The Pretender' and 'Repetition'. The band was noted for its live show. In October 2006, DC Pakt performed as part of the Hard Working Class Heroes Festival in Dublin. In January 2008, the band announced that it was to split.
