DUBLIN 2003 -
OVERVIEW
Dinah Brand is a Dublin-based indie rock band formed by ex-Pet Lamb man Dylan Phillips. Early line ups of the band featured Lee Casey [Drums], David Lacey [Bass Guitar] and John Hegarty [Keyboards]. More recent line ups have seen Stephen Ryan [ex-Stars Of Heaven and The Revenants] and Gavin Ward [ex-Jackbeast] have joined the ranks. Since its formation in 2003, the band has released a pair of albums and a handful of singles. The first of these long players, 'Pale Monkey Blues' was released in 2003. The following year, the band contributed a new track 'Perfect And Whole' to the Road Relish series of split 7" singles. Tychonaut contributed the flipside which was 'The Before And After Seance'. In 2009, the Dinah Brand appeared on the appeared on the Road Records compilation with the track 'Go Inside'. Dylan was working in the legendary Dublin record shop at this time. The following year saw the release of the band's second album, 'I Can Walk Through'.

It was 2018 before the band emerged with new material In November of that year, the band released 'Rotunda Boy' as a single.
