What a strange little beast The Emperor Of Ice Cream must be. On the one hand they can come up with something as singularly touching as 'Soft To Touch', all floating Ride melodies and gorgeous vocals, and probably even better than the title track, and then they stick it beside the comparatively dull 'Zach Barnes'. 'Sunflower' is another trippy charmer, and yes, we probably are taking large quantities of drugs here. 'Overflow' itself is fine. No more, no less.
