WEXFORD 2012 -
OVERVIEW
Frankenstein Bolts is a two-piece group from Wexford. The band came into being in 2012 as a solo vehicle for Justin Cullen. He was joined by Dan Comerford in 2013. Dan had previously being performing with Red Sail.

The group's sound has been described as Folktronica. In reality, the band play lo-fi guitar music. The debut release came in the form of the 'Slow Season' album which was released in June 2014. The record featured tracks suck as Sleeping Sacks', 'Love Of Sailing' and 'Alone Ranger'. The pair were selected by Guinness Amplify to receive some studio time. The time was used to record material for single releases. The first of these, 'Up To The Root' appeared in February 2015. Later that Summer, Frankenstein Bolts could be found playing the Electric Picnic.
