OVERVIEW Lucy Foley is a singer-songwriter, originally from Co. Clare but now based in New York. She draws on a wide variety of sources for inspiration but her sound is her own and could be described as folk-pop. Indeed, she has been favourably likened to Kate Bush. Lucy spent an amount of time living in Copenhagen and it was there that she was inspired to write the songs which would form the basis of her debut album. Her first release was named after the Danish city that inspired it. The album, 'Copenhagen' was recorded in Brooklyn (where she now lives) and Clare with Ross Bonadonna. The collection was a fine demonstration of her talent with 7 samples of beautifully crafted tracks. 2010 - Release of 'Copenhagen' album [01 October]
