OVERVIEW Havana is the stage name of Carol Anthony, a pop and dance diva from Caork. Carol was born into a large family - she was the yougest of 9 children. She joined the Monfort Stage School at the age of three and hasn't looked back since. She launched her singing career under her own name. She released a series of singles during the middle part of the noughties. These releases included 'Wrong', 'Showdown' as well as cover version of The Pretenders classic 'Brass In Pocket'. However, tragedy struck for the singer. She suffered a bad fall while horse-riding which left her in hospital for eight weeks. It was feared that she may not walk again. However, Carol is made of stern stuff and fought her way back to fitness In 2011, she re-emerged as Havana. The name gives a clue as to her musical style Havana sings latino-infused R&B pop.
