OVERVIEW Hi Beats Lo is an international musical collaboration. The group members enjoy a shared history - all of them being part of 1990s group Venus Envy. Those players are Eugene Ryder [Vocals & Guitar], Alan Murphy [Drums] and Annabella Stover [Bass Guitar]. In the 20 years since the demise of Venus Envy, Eugene went on to play with Pecadillos and Inevitable Spoon before moving to Barcelona. The other band members remained in Ireland with Alan drumming with The Great Western Squares. The Hi Beats Lo project really started when Eugene started recording his music and sharing it with Alan. The result is an eclectic mix of styles from fuzzy guitar to electronica. The band released its first slbum 'Days You Get' in August 2014.
