OVERVIEW On lead vocals and guitar is John Spud Murphy, who performed as bassist with the acclaimed Dublin act Sack, in a previous incarnation before deciding to form Hybrasil. Keith Byrne, who had played drums with a variety of acts in Ireland and the UK, was cajoled into playing guitar and also to lending his vocals to the fray whenever the mood grabs him. Bassist, Neil Nipper Kinsella and drummer Neil Horner had previously played guitar and bass respectively in the garage-band/archetype of insanity that was Obi Wan.
