OVERVIEW Laura Izibor is a talented singer-songwriter from Dublin. 2003 - In February of 2003, at the tender age of 15 she entered, and subsequently won, Ireland's national and prestigious "2FM Song Contest". The contest was broadcast live on Ireland's national radio station, 2FM. It was at that moment that the nation got its first taste of Lauras unique voice and rare song writing abilities. She made such a powerful impression that the station played her winning song, Compatible, in daytime rotation long after the contest was over. 2004 - Laura is nominated for two Meteor Music Awards : 'Best New Act' and 'Best New Hope For 2004'. She was the first unsigned artist to be nominated for the awards. 2006 -Laura wins the 'Hope For 2006' category at the Meteor Music Awards 2007 - Release of 'Live From Crawdaddy, Dublin' E.P.
