OVERVIEW Jonny Fun & The ... Hesitations is a Dublin-baded indie-pop band. There is little known about this group, however, Jonny Fun himself is a native of Sunderland in the UK. The Hesitations are a collection of musicians from the Irish indie scene including Annie Tierney [Chicks, The Radio & Tieranniesaur], Padraig O'Reilly [Strangleberries, (retards) & Yeh Deadlies] and David Green [Lazybug, Outpost Alpha & Yeh Deadlies]. The band's album was a long time in the making. Work started on the record in 2004 but it wasn't until 2010 that it finally got a release. Entitled 'Carpe PM', the album contained a total of 9 tracks including 'Jennifer G. Smith'. 'Your Name In Song' and 'Little Miss Sunshine (And Me)'. The band has also contributed tracks to a number of compilations - partiularly for the Popical Island imprint. In 2012, the band recorded a version of 'What An Idiot I Am' for the 'Plunderphonics ::: A Tribute To Big Monster Love' compilation. 2003 - Band fomed 2010 - Release of 'Carpe PM' album [10 May] |
