OVERVIEW Kid Silver was a short-lived musical project of Ken Griffin. He is better known from his time as front man of indie-rock group Rollerskate Skinny. That band released two acclaimed albums, 'Shoulder Voices' [1993] and Horsedrawn Wishes [1996]. After the band split, Griffin relocated to New York. During his early years in the city, he assumed the moniker of Kid Silver. The band was essentially a solo project for Griffin. In 1999, Kid Silver released its only album to date, 'Dead City Sunbeams'. The album was quite experimental in nature with diverse instrumentation. By 2004, Griffin had hooked up with former members of Aspera to form Favourite Sons. 1999 - Release of 'Dead City Sunbeams' album
