1982 - 1985

OVERVIEW Kissed Air was a post-punk band which was active between 1982 - 1985. The band been previously called Know Authority and then KA. The lineup included Cormac Tohill [Vocals], John Watt [Guitar & Synths], Norman Johnston [Bass Guitar] and Mark McCormack [Drums]. After almost getting signed by The Beat / Go Feet Records, the band decided to set up its own label, Kabuki Records and secured a distribution deal with Rogh Trade Records. The band went on to release 3 singles - 'Kariba' [1982], 'Out Of Sight' [1982] and 'Kawaraya' [1983]. The band split sometime after this. Kabuki Records also released records by Microdisney and Five Go Down To The Sea. Some time later John Watt composed the them tune for the BBC show 'Dragon's Den' 1982 - Release of 'Kariba' single - Release of 'Out Of Sight' single 1983 - Release of 'Kawaraya' E.P 1985 - Band split
