2010 -

OVERVIEW Kodakid is an indie-rock band from Waterford. The group was formed in 2010 with a lineup of Kevin Power [Vocals], Alex Soikans [Guitar], John Duignan [Bass Guitar] and Tony Browne [Drums]. Alex had previously played with Waterford favourite's Deaf Animal Orchestra. The group has a sound which is a melange of indie rock with a sprinkling of Funk. The band released its debut single, 'Pray For Some Luck' as a free digital download in March 2011. A couple of months later in July, the band released a second single, 'Low 7'. The band's stock was on on the rise and in October of that year, the group was chosen as one of 10 artists to feature on the 'Backstage Pass' compilation.
