2005 -

OVERVIEW KVX is an all-girl alternative rock band from Cork. The five-piece came together in March 2005 with a line up of Eimear O'Donovan [Vocals & Bass Guitar], Daire O'Sullivan [Violin & Glockenspiel], Ciara Scally [Guitar], Niamh Collins [Drums] and Leah Hearne [Guitar, Vocals & Flute]. The band gigged extensively and, in 2007, they released their debut material in the form of 'The Actual' EP. That year also saw them participating in the Coca-Cola Blast:Beat. The band contributed the track 'Without A Word' to the 'Coca-Cola Blast Beat ::: Vol 5' compilation.
