TALLAGHT, CO. DUBLIN 2005 - 2010/11
OVERVIEW
Neon Stars was an alternative rock band from Tallaght. The group came to gether in 2005 with a lime up of Gav Glynn [Vocals & Guitar], Dean Byrne [Drums], Kevin [Bass Guitar] and Joe [Guitar], The group recorded a demo that year which included the track 'Risk'. In 2007, the band performed as part of the Oxjam Series with a gig at The Hub alongside Revolution For Dogs, The Laundry Shop and The Ultra Montanes. 2009 was to be the busiest year in the band's career. The band made the shortlist for the JD Set Series. Later that year the band recorded its debut EP. The self-titled EP featured 'Never Seen It Coming, 'Monotomy', 'Me And The Boys', 'Kid Presentable' and 'Count To Ten'.

The band split some time after this with Gav and Dean going on to join Leaders Of Men.
