OVERVIEW Perfect Skins is a rock band from Portlaoise. The group came together in 1998 with a line up of Brian O'Mahoney [Vocals & Guitar], Ollie Plunkett [Guitar], Eammon Duff [Bass Guitar] and Dick Duff [Drums]. Ollie and Dick had previously been part of the 1980s group The Mere Mortals. In 2004, the group self-released a debut album entitled 'Superhero'. The lead single from the long player, 'Come Together' reached number 26 in the Irish charts. The band's second album followed in 2009 with the release of 'A Reconstructed View' on Matchbox Recordings. The Skins contributed the track 'Alone Tonight' to the Matchbox Recordings compilation 'Tour De Force 3'. The following year, they featured on the 'Laois Music Connect ::: Connect One' compilation with the track 'Waiting For The Night' In August 2011, the band returned with a new single, 'War In The City' which was made available as a free download.
