OVERVIEW
The Rusanango Family is an award-winning hip-hop/rap trio based in the Limerick-Clare area. The line up features two MCs - God Knows and MuRli who have Zimbabwean and Togolese backgrounds respectively. They are joined by producer & DJ mynameisjOhn who grew up in Ennis, Co. Clare. God Knows and mynameisjOhn got to know each other from growing up in Clare. In 2014, the jointly released an album entitled 'Rusangano/Family'. MuRli soon joined the project and they adopted the name of the album as the name of the new group.

Rusanango is at forefront of a wave of musical projects featuring members who come from an immigrant background. This diversity of background forms the basis of the themes of many of their songs
