OVERVIEW Pauline Scanlon is a folk-pop singer from Dingle, Co. Kerry. She has been performing for many years as a solo artist. During this time, she recorded a couple of albums - 'Red Colour Sun' [2004] and 'Hush' [2006]. Both albums were well received in the folk circles. In 2007, Pauline worked with American pop icon, Belinda Carlisle on her album 'Voila'. A year later, she teamed up with Éilís Kennedy to form Dingle White Females. A fellow native of Dingle, the pair had been looking for an opportunity to work together for some time. During that year, the pair contributed the track 'Fíll Fíll A Rún Ó' to the Ceol '08 compilation.
