DUBLIN 2010 -
OVERVIEW
Squarehead is a 3-piece independent rock/pop band based in Dublin. The lineup features Roy Duffy [Vocals & Guitar], Ian McFarlane [Bass Guitar] and Ruan Van Vliet [Drums]. Their sound is clearly influenced by The Beach Boys with the band creating summery soundscapes. In 2010, The band contributed the track 'Fake Blood' to the Popical Island compilation. A couple of months later, 'Fake Blood' would become the band's debut single released on Any Other City Records.

The following year was a buy one for the band. In March, the trio released its second single, 'Moonlight Enchilada'. In August of that year, the band launched its debut album, 'Yeah Nothing'
