OVERVIEW Talulah Does The Hula was an indie pop quintet based in Dublin. They were formed by former members of The Chalets [Paula Cullen & Caoimhe Derwin] and Neosupervital [Jessie Ward & Lauren Kerchner]. Michael Winder, on drums, completes the lineup. The band play a blend of quirky harmonious pop tunes. In June 2009, the band released their debut single 'Bad Boyfriend / Those Girls' as a limited release of 200 copies. The following year brought with it a new single release. Once again it was a double A-Side - 'Don't Panic / Real Friends'. In October of that year, 'Those Friends' was chosen to become the theme tune for the TV series 'Fade Street'. The band released its third, and final, single 'They say / Tomorrow's Yours' in July 2011. Shortly after this, Michael decided to move to England. The girls decided to call time on Talulah Does The Hula However, this was not to be the end of their musical odyssey. The remaining four members recruited Sarah Grimes [of Black Robots] and formed September Girls. 2009 - Release of 'Bad Boyfriend / Those Girls' single [26 June] - Talulah Does The Hula perform as part of the Hard Working Class Heroes Festival in Dublin [16 - 18 October] 2010 - Release of 'Don't Panic' single [07 May] 2011 - Release of 'They Say / Tomorrow's Yours' single [14 July] - Band split
