OVERVIEW
The Truro Syndicate is a Dublin-based alternative rock band. The band formed out of the ashes of Principles Of Shotgun Cloning in the mid-2000s. Over the years the lineup has included Phil Clarke [Vocals, Guitar & Harmonica], Gareth Averill [Guitar, Drums, Lapsteel & Banjo], Fergus Gleeson [Guitar, Drums, Fiddle & Banjo], Eoin O'Leary [Bass Guitar] and Andy Clarke [Drums], amongst others.

There is little known about the band itself. It's not known if it released any material, however, in April 2012 the band contributed its interprestation of 'Young Hearts Run Free / Simply The Best' to the 'Record Store Gay' compilation.

When not performing with The Truro Syndicate The various band members keep themselves with their many and varied musical projects. Phil is a member of Elsworth Cambs, Feed The Bears and You Kiss By The Book while Fergus has played with Television Room, Hired Hands and Feed The Bears.
