OVERVIEW Tailor Made Project were a relatively short lived rock band based in Dublin. The project came in to being when Colm Russell met Keith Nolan through mutual friends. The pair developed a musical relationship over the coming months and eventually brought Stephen Kelly and Steve Gladwell in to the fold on Vocals/Guitar and Drums respectively. Steve Gladwell left and replaced by Conor Dowdall. Charlene Roche also joined the line up around this time. The band wrote extensively over the following months. A 7 track EP was recorded during this period before Conor decided to leave the band. He was replaced on drums by Gavan Murray. However, Charlene was to leave and this almost was the end of the group. However, Mick Earley was recruited on guitar. Earley had been playing with Tokin and that band's vocalist, Lucy Gunning also joined Tailor Made Project. These additions instilled a new lease of life into the group. New material was produced and the '2400' EP was released in 2004. However, the instability in the line up struck again with Gavan leaving. Keith and Colm felt it was time to bring the project to a close and the group split. Mick Earley and Lucy Gunning went on to form Burma Shade and, later, Factions. Lucy has also performed with Dermot Bohan [aka Tom Red] under the guise of The Dog & Pony Show and Your Heart Is A Drum Machine. 2001 - Band formed 2004 - Release of '2400' EP
